The First Capital Christian Church is located in Chillicothe, Ohio, located in southern Ohio. Chillicothe is known for its rich history and it served as the first state capital.The First Capital Christian Church is a non-denominational Christian Church patterned after examples of Pentecost and the churches of the New Testament. We follow the principles of the Restoration Movement. We have no creed or articles of faith other than those contained in the New Testament. We maintain the doctrine of serving communion on Sunday's and baptism by immersion after acceptance of Jesus Christ as the Son of God and personal savior. We are independent of all denominations, councils, agencies societies, and mergers and shall recognize only Christ as its head with no other spiritual authority over the church.

About the Position
Position Description
The requirements of the senior Minister are as follows:
- The Minister must conform to standards set forth in 1st Timothy 3: 1-7 and 1 st Peter 5: 1-4
- Must have a background in Church of Christ/Christian Church doctrine.
- Prepare and present a sermon for every Sunday service except when other events are planned.
- Lead the church in proclaiming the gospel to the church and community.
- Plan, prepare, and communicate with volunteers to conduct Christ centered worship services.
- Oversee and organize adult education programs in discipleship and ministry.
- Work with the elders and deacons to define and implement goals and vision for the church.
- Visit members and prospects, and lead others in a visitation program.
- Serve as the leader in seeking to win the unsaved.
- Serve with elders and deacons in planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the total church program.
- Manage the church website and social media.
- Provide monthly reports to the leadership on activities and accomplishments.
- Oversee and support youth and children ministries.
